Voice Intercom
Voice intercom systems communicate form distant locations and enhance the ability of access control. For example is someone is attempting to gain access to a secured area without access control or if the person does not have a card, the individual could activate the intercom system linked to a control station where an operator would acknowledge the individual attempting to gain entry and press a "release" button to grant access. A voice intercom system will typically consist of a master station and one or more substations. The master station is typically located at the designed operator location such as a secretary's desk or a security control center.
